noun
A delusion is a belief that is held with strong conviction despite superior evidence to the contrary. As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, confabulation, dogma, illusion, or other effects of perception. Wikipedia
Wait, What? What of Faith then? It goes on, Whew!
Many religious beliefs hold exactly the same features, yet are not universally considered delusional. Praise God, Jesus, Allah, Shiva, et al.
How many of us can say that we haven’t been deluded at some time or another?
Its difficult to see our own delusions, sometimes we don’t see them until we are much further down the road. I guess that’s what a delusion is a vision that is deluged by something other from something other we don’t fully see or understand.

Yes, Perception is cunning, due to preferences, our desire to be right and searching for and finding evidence to support our positions. I’ve never learned anything without making mistakes.

Isn’t it the truth. Delusion and illusion. We certainly can see how easy it can be to be led down paths that aren’t always good because of delusion and illusion. We are discovering however that persistence and faith soon brings clarity but it requires diligent searching for the truth.

Spoken with truth. Sure beats the hustle and bustle of the world where thinking can get hard sometimes due to the noise.
