What have we here? Is it the most beautiful, appealing, attractive thing I have seen and must do what I can to possess it. Or, perhaps it is repulsive, ugly, frightening and I must give this a wide berth, look away maybe pretend I never encountered it.
I have to stop and consider, that I am most likely wrong. I must be willing to invest in an open-minded attempt to see it clearly and acknowledge my propensity for distorted perception.
Saying to myself Yes and Thank you, for everything. What may seem to me at this moment to be counter to my benefit, just might be the best thing to ever happen.
Has Sammy Hagar been around “like” forever?
Gosh yes I think our perceptions sometimes are warped from past beliefs and situations that happened in our lives. I too am looking with fresh eyes! Such a beautiful thing really when you like about it! I love your poppy photo! It’s stunning! Wow! ~ღ~

Thank you, Micki I seem to have that theme throughout my blog and it is completely unintentional. Grasping the frequency of self-deception based on appearances. I’m waking up

Great post — your words are applicable to so many disparate situations. And since I’m old, I can attest to the fact that Hagar has been around at least long enough for the Dead Kennedys to come out with this lyric in 1986: “See the Aryan bozo with his red guitar parachute on the White House lawn! Gonna bomb the Commies with his air guitar — so dumb, he can’t drive 55!!”
