I forgot

Imagine if you will, waking up having forgotten everything. Every belief, every concept, idea, what you are afraid of, what you thought. EVERYTHING! Especially yourself.

You are suddenly consumed, enveloped, filled, sated with peace, love, safety. You felt as if there is nothing you couldn’t do and enjoy it beyond measure. There is nothing that you need or want.Β You areΒ as you were created to be.

I aspire to do that every moment

  1. Forgetting implies that we will have no knowledge of that which has been lost…. I like to explore letting go every day. With awareness of what it is that I choose to release. Surrender becomes a conscious choice πŸ’›

  2. Our minds constantly want to cling to bad memories or mistakes, but can quickly forget the many times we don’t make mistakes and when we do good. This is a great reminder to me that I have to leave the negative past behind and remember the good. πŸ™‚

    1. Of course, pleasant memories will be cherished. We’re never so aware of ourselves as when we’re in pain. I attempt to sit with that and allow it to pass. Awareness of hanging on to hurt, I believe is the key to it passing through and away.
